Batavia Uncorked Wine Festival: 8 Wineries, Food, Live Music Planned

In its second year, the casual outdoor festival will bring wine, food and live music to the Riverwalk in Batavia.

BATAVIA, IL — Eight wineries will be showcased at the Batavia Uncorked wine festival on Saturday.

In its second year, the casual outdoor festival organized by the Batavia Park District will bring local wine, food and live music to the Riverwalk from 1-4 p.m.

"We launched this event in 2024 to provide a casual option to sample wine," event organizer Lori McDonald said in a statement. "It was a huge success and tickets sold out. Everyone loved the setup of a wine festival along the river with live acoustic guitar music."

Acoustic duo Liz & Hala will perform at the Peg Bond Center stage, and Fernando's Street Kitchen and Chicago Charcuterie Corner sell bites to eat.

General admission tickets cost $40 and include entry, 10 one-ounce pours and a commemorative glass. New this year is the premier ticket, offering an additional five drink tickets for $55. Tickets for designated drivers cost $10 and include water and soda.

Last call for entrance will be at 3:30 p.m., and the last pour will be at 3:45 p.m. No pets will be permitted at the event.
