Bulldogs Red Hots Opens Under New Management

Bulldogs will serve as a "go-to [destination] for satisfying your cravings," Chamber of Commerce officials said.

BATAVIA, IL — Bulldogs Red Hots in Batavia is under new management, and the Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated with a ribbon cutting Thursday morning.

The previously closed restaurant, at 32 N. Island Ave., has new owners, Anestis Derakis and Angie Rios, and a refreshed interior space.

Mayor Jeffery Schielke presided over the ceremony with restaurant owner, Bulldogs employees, Chamber members and city officials joining the celebration for the longtime fast-food Batavia restaurant.

Bulldogs's menu offers a variety of options, including hot dogs, gyros, burgers and sandwiches. Food is available for dining, carry-out and catering, and the restaurant will soon be on DoorDash.

Chamber official said Bulldogs will serve as a "go-to [destination] for satisfying your cravings."

"A beloved Batavia restaurant, Bulldog's Red Hots brings a touch of classic comfort to your dining experience," reads a news release.

Bulldogs's hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
