Downed Power Line Closes Road For 2 Hours, Officials Say
Crews will be working in the area of Brandywine Circle near Route 31 to fix the power lines, and said residents could be affected.

BATAVIA, IL — A downed power line is blocking traffic in the area of Brandywine Circle near Route 31, officials announced in a social media post Wednesday.
The roads in that area will be closed for the next two hours, authorities estimated around 11 p.m., while crews work to fix the line. Power in the direct area will be affected.
Tuesday night's storms left almost 200,000 people without power, according to Commonwealth Edison. Downed power lines throughout the Chicagoland are expected to slow or block traffic until later this evening, traffic officials said.
