A Thursday morning fire in a Batavia trailer home injured a firefighter and the man living there, who was taken to a hospital.
The fire in the 0-100 block of Oak Terrace Court was reported at 11:55 a.m. and caused by clothes in a dryer, according to the fire department. The flames spread to the man’s trailer. Falling debris struck the firefighter in the face, and he was treated at the scene. The man, 48, suffered a minor burn and smoke inhalation.
The trailer was a total loss, according to the fire department.
