'Frog Lady' Will Show Off Reptiles, Amphibians At Library Event

Batavia Public Library will be hosting a two-hour-long herpetology exhibit where guests can touch and meet the creatures.

BATAVIA, IL — Fans of reptiles and amphibians looking to interact with the creatures, look no further than the Batavia Public Library.

On March 31, organizers will host the Frog Lady, a herpetology expert, who will showcase more than 20 live animals between 10 a.m. and noon in the library's Founders Room.

Attendees will learn the differences and similarities between reptiles and amphibians and have their questions answered by the expert. Not only will guests be in the same room as the animals, but they'll also get to touch and meet them, according to the event's description.
