JT's Tavern Takes Over Former Full Moon Space In Batavia
The business at 113 S. Batavia Ave. has been extensively renovated to make way for the new JT's Tavern & Tap.

BATAVIA, IL — A vacant storefront in a historic Batavia building is no longer empty: JT's Tavern & Tap officially moved in.
The eatery takes over the space at 113 S. Batavia Ave. formerly occupied by Full Moon. Owners Robert Truex and his sons, Jeremy and Justin, completed an extensive remodeling of the restaurant and opened the business the second week of December.
The restaurant celebrated its official grand opening Monday, with Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke presiding over the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Community members and city leaders joined the owners, their family members and friends at the event.
