Man In Ski Mask Leads Police On Chase From Batavia To Chicago: Kane County Sheriff
The Chicago man got law enforcement's attention as he was driving "at a high rate of speed" on Washington Street in Batavia, officials said.

BATAVIA, IL — A Chicago teenager was charged by the Kane County Sheriff's Office after he led deputies on a chase from Batavia to Chicago just before 1 a.m. Monday.
Tri-Com Central Dispatch informed the Kane County Sheriff's Office at 12:52 a.m. of a gray Infiniti with no license plates driving "at a high rate of speed" on Washington Street, nearing Fabyan Parkway in Batavia. The vehicle's occupants were all wearing ski masks, officials were told.
Deputies located the car on southbound Church Road near Bilter Road in Aurora and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver didn't stop and instead sped away onto westbound Indian Trail before turning onto Orchard Road to get onto Interstate 88.

The Downers Grove Police Department was called to assist in the pursuit and successfully spiked the Infiniti on I-88, but the chase continued into Chicago. The Infiniti ultimately crashed into another car and stopped shortly after, officials said.
Both passengers in the car that was hit were brought to Mount Sinai Hospital and released shortly after. No injuries were reported, only complaints of pain, officials said.

The Infiniti driver, 19-year-old Milton Boni, of the 3000 block of North Mason Avenue in Chicago, was taken into custody and charged with the following:
- 21 mph over legal limit
- Causing great bodily injury to an individual
- Causing damage above $300 to property
- Disobeying two or more official traffic control devices
- Concealing or altering vehicle's registration plate
Charges are also pending against two Infiniti passengers: 19-year-old Isaiha Draper, of the 36W700 block of Crane Road in St. Charles Township, and a teenage boy, whose information police withheld.
