Public Hearing Slated for Zoning Code Changes
The June 22 session will consider a number of issues in the code.

Batavia's Plan Commission will hold a public hearing June 22 to consider a number of amendments to the city's zoning code. The proposed amendments would modify several chapters of the code, including, but not limited to:
Chapter 2.1: Single Family Residential Districts
Chapter 2.4: Downtown Mixed Use Zoning District

Chapter 2.6: Employment Districts

Chapter 4.1: Site Regulations

Chapter 5.2: Common Procedures
Chapter 7: Glossary of General Terms
Other chapters may be amended as necessary to implement the proposed changes. Information regarding this proposed amendments to the code is available for review at the Community Development Department in the City of Batavia Municipal Building, 100 N. Island Ave., during normal business hours. All interested persons are requested to attend the hearing at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 100 N. Island Ave.
