CHICAGO — The 19th Ward Office, which already has delivered free pancake breakfasts to senior citizens and medical workers in the two weeks since the coronavirus crisis was declared a pandemic, will now deliver free pizza slices from Barraco's to senior citizens in the Beverly, Mount Greenwood and Morgan Park neighborhoods that make up the ward.

19th Ward Ald. Matt O'Shea said in an email to residents 100 pre-packaged large slices of cheese pizzas will be delivered to senior citizens 65 and older on Monday, March 30. Meal requests will come on a first come, first served basis and can be made on the 19th Ward website.

Requests will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 27. Pizza slices are limited to one per person, with a maximum of two per household, O'Shea said.
