19th Ward Holiday Dodge Ball Tourney Schedule Released

CHICAGO — The schedule for Ald. Matt O’Shea’s annual 19th Ward Holiday Dodge Ball Tournament for elementary school students has been released. The tournament takes place Thursday, Dec. 26, and Friday, Dec. 27 at Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, 3857 W. 111th St.

All elementary school students living in the 19th Ward are invited to participate. Registration is $1 per child, per day, and concessions will be sold. Teams will be chosen randomly daily; families can participate on one or both days. See the schedule below:

10 to 11:30 a.m. Pre-K through 1st Grade
11:45 to 1:15pm 2nd Grade & 3rd Grade
1:30 to 3 p.m. 4th Grade & 5th Grade
3:15 to 4:45 p.m. 6th Grade, 7th Grade & 8th Grade

If your kid can dodge a wrench, they can dodge a ball. Walk-up registration for 19th Ward families who could not register online are welcome.
