Arrest Made In Fatal Shooting At Shell In Blue Island
A 20-year-old Chicago man faces a first degree murder charge in the January death of Matthew Jones.

BLUE ISLAND, IL — Police in Blue Island have made an arrest in the shooting death of a 27-year-old man from the town. Frank Hunter, 20, of Chicago faces a first degree murder charge in connection with the Jan. 21 fatal shooting of Matthew Jones, police said.
Hunter was arrested on April 1, Blue Island police said.
Jones was found to have been shot at the Shell gas station at 119th and Western, on the suburb side of the border with the Far South end of Chicago during the afternoon hours. He later died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
