Sultry, unique, and fun describes the atmosphere created by singer Madeline Morgan’s voice: a blending of nostalgia and hope with classic jazz. Join us on Sunday, May 15th for two shows in the Beverly Arts Center’s Wilcanic Lab Theatre for Madeline Sings Sassy: A Tribute to Sarah Vaughan, a co-production with Chicago Cabaret Week. Known to Chicago audiences for her performances at Davenport’s Piano Bar (in her solo shows Opportunity Knocks and Strut Your Stuff) and at the 2012 Green Festival, Madeline will dazzle audiences with her interpretations of some of Vaughan’s best-known songs. Artistic Director Kevin Pease shared, "Artists of Madeline Morgan's caliber are rare. She's a wonderful example of the talent that exists right here on the South Side. The Beverly Arts Center is so grateful to Chicago Cabaret Week for carving out space for artists like Madeline, and for helping arts venues build back stronger as we come out of two very dark years. We can't wait for the community to fall in love with her as we have."

Madeline Sings Sassy will be presented on Sunday, May 15th, two shows only, 2:00PM and 4:00PM. Tickets for the show are $30 and seating is limited. To purchase your tickets, please visit www.thebeverlyartscenter.com, call (773) 445-3838, or stop by our Box Office during daily operating hours and a friendly BAC representative can assist you.
