Beverly Breast Cancer Walk 2013 in Photos

A look at the sea of pink and green that descended on Longwood Drive to raise funds for local breast cancer causes.

It's hard to think of Mother's Day without remembering the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk

Now in it's 14th year, the event has raised millions of dollars for local cancer causes. This year over 12,000 walkers banded together to raise more than $500,000, according to event organizers.

The funds stay in the community and help support Little Company of Mary Hospital's Cancer Center.

This year's top fund raising team was the Oak Lawn Raiders, who raised over $15,000.

The route took walkers through the historic Beverly neighborhood where local musicians provided the soundtrack for the early morning walk.
