Beverly Teen Honored By De La Salle Institute

BEVERLY, IL — De La Salle Institute senior Quimari Carter has been named Meteor of the Month by the school.

Carter is a 17-year-old Beverly resident, according to the Daily Southtown, and this year he “began helping tutor students from the school's football team who are struggling with their studies.”

Nominees for Meteor of the Month “are students who stand out among their peers by having demonstrated one or more of the Lasallian Principles of Faith, Community, Service, Social Justice and/or Association,” De La Salle Institute explained on its website.
