Chicago Firefighter Jason Mayoski Dies at 37
Chicago Fire Fighter Jason Mayoski died over the weekend in his sleep, leaving behind a wife and three young children.

The community is mourning the death of Chicago firefighter Jason Mayoski, 37, who died last weekend. Initial reports state that he died in his sleep of natural causes.
He leaves behind a his wife Jennifer, and three young children. His funeral is being held Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Queen of Martyrs Church. Information about how to donate to his family is contained in his death notice.

Loving husband of Jennifer, CPD (nee Chapin); Awesome Daddy of Nicholas, Jason and Brooke; Loving son of Brian and Elizabeth (nee Vinluan); Dearest brother of Dawn, Nicole, CPD and Ashley Mayoski; Dear son-in-law of Richard, Ret. CFD and Pamela Chapin. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Funeral Wednesday 9:00 a.m. from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn to Queen of Martyrs Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
