The Forest Preserve District of Cook County’s Dan Ryan Woods will host the first-ever Winter Trails Day, featuring outdoor fun for all ages, plus activities in a heated tent.
Enjoy guided fitness hikes led by REI, nature hikes led by a naturalist from the Sand Ridge Nature Center and bird hikes led by Audubon – Chicago Region.
Other highlights will include a scavenger hunt, winter crafts, and refreshments. Weather permitting, snowshoeing and sledding will also be available.

The fun takes place on Saturday, January 12, 2013, from 11am to 3pm. At the Dan Ryan Woods, Grove 5.
