Joey’s Red Hots To Donate 100% Of Sales To Fallen CPD Officer’s Family
Joey's Red Hots at 115th St. and Western will donate 100 percent of sales Tuesday, March 14, to the family of CPD Officer Vasquez-Lasso.

CHICAGO — Stop by and grab some lunch or dinner Tuesday, March 14, at Joey’s Red Hots, 115th Street and Western Avenue in the Morgan Park neighborhood. From 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Joey’s will donate 100 percent of all food sales to the family of fallen Chicago Police Officer Andres Vasquez-Lasso, who was killed answering a domestic call earlier this month.
“We love the support we get from the community and our officers who are out there supporting us and risking their lives for us on a daily basis,” said Anthony Nardo, co-owner of Joey’s Red Hots. “We want to help this man’s family out as much as we can. We hope more businesses will catch on and do the same.”
Joey’s has been in Morgan Park five years. The restaurant offers non-hot dog items too, including gyros, Philly cheese steaks, Philly chicken cheese steaks and homemade Italian ice.
