Metra Trains Delayed After Crash

Rock Island trains are running behind schedule after a crash at 115th Street.

Rock Island line Metra trains are running behind schedule after a crash at the 115th Street crossing. 

According to Metra's website, trains are operating between 25 and 45 minutes behind schedule after a "grade crossing incident" at 115th Street. 

A Metra spokeswoman told Sun-Times media that the accident involved a car and the 413 train. No fatalities were reported.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the crossing gates were working when the crash occurred, according to the report.
