Prayer Vigil For Missing McAuley Student, Set For Thursday At Nativity Of Our Lord
A community prayer vigil for missing Mother McAuley student, Estefania Herrera, 18, is set for Thursday, Oct. 23, at Nativity Of Our Lord.

CHICAGO — Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School and the Sisters of Mercy are keeping the faith, holding an in-school prayer vigil earlier this week for the safe return of missing student, Estefania Herrera. The prayers continued into Wednesday
“Yesterday, our Mother McAuley community — rooted in Mercy and grounded in hope — gathered for an internal prayer vigil for our student, Estefania Herrera,” the high school said in a statement. “Today, students, faculty and staff are uniting in dedicated intercessory prayer throughout the school day, keeping her and her family close in our hearts and thoughts.”
On the family’s behalf, the high school said that a prayer vigil will be held this Thursday, Oct. 23, at 5:30 p.m., at Nativity of Our Lord, 653 W. 37th St., Chicago, for those who wish to join in prayer for Estefania and her loved ones.
