No One Injured In Fire At Home Near 107th And Bell

Damage to the home on 107th Street was confined to the second floor of the home, a fire department spokesman said.

CHICAGO — Firefighters didn't take long to put out a fire reported at a home in the city's Beverly neighborhood Wednesday afternoon. The call that came in at 1:54 p.m. in the 2200 block of West 107th Street was described as a "working fire," the lowest level of fire according to Chicago Fire Department spokesperson Larry Merritt.

No one was injured in the fire, and no one taken from the scene for any evaluation, Merritt said.

The fire occurred in an occupied single family home, he added. Damage was limited to the second floor of the home.
