Trees and power lines across the 19th Ward were damaged in Monday night's storm and some residents are still dealing with major headaches Tuesday morning.
Ald. Matt O'Shea reports that both city and ComEd crews are currently at work dealing with damaged trees on city property and downed power lines, respectively.
If you are without power or have downed lines you should contact ComEd first at 1-800-334-7661. If there are damaged trees on city property or blocking streets you should call 311. O'Shea urges residents to have all their neighbors call and report the problem.
You should also follow up with the problem by contacting the 19th Ward Office online or by phone at (773) 238-8766 or mattoshea@the19thward.com.
