Police Officer in 'Grave Condition' After Motorcycle Accident
His motorcycle struck a car while the officer was on his way to work.
An off-duty Chicago Police officer is in critical condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn after his motorcycle collided with a car while he was on his way to work Monday afternoon.
The accident happened in the 9500 block of South Vincennes when a car pulled in front of the officer. A police source told the Chicago Sun-Times the officer works in the 6th District. “Last condition update I had from last night was that he was in grave condition,” Anthony Guglielmi, a police spokesman, told the Tribune.
