Prosecutors: Alsip Man Shoots and Kills Man During Argument

Brandon Ewing, of the 3700 block of West 119th Street, has been charged with first-degree murder, according to reports.

An Alsip man has been charged with first-degree murder after an April 12 shooting incident, according to reports. 

Brandon Ewing, 24, of the 3700 block of West 119th Street, was arguing with a man at an apartment building in the 8700 block of South Burley Avenue when he shot a man several times, DNAInfo reports.

Kevin Sanders, 34, was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Sun-Times media. Sanders was shot several times.

During the incident Ewing was also shot, according to reports. Prosecutors remarked that Ewing was caring for his girlfriend at the apartment building and said he was trying to buy marijuana when the disagreement occurred.
