'Sip & Shop' Night Out Showcases Beverly, Morgan Park Fashion

A number of businesses in the 99th and 103rd Street shopping districts are offering food, drinks, and sales on Thursday night.

BEVERLY, IL — If you’re interested in a bit of “shopping under the influence,” you’re in for a fun Thursday night: the Beverly Area Planning Association and the Morgan Park Beverly Hills Business Association are co-hosting a “Sip & Shop” event highlighting new clothing from the 99th Street and 103rd Street shopping districts.

On Thursday from 6 to 11 p.m., 21 local businesses are hosting sales, promotions, and debuting their fall collections. Many of the stores will serve hors d’oeuvres, light refreshments, and specialty cocktail, beer, and wine tastings.

From 9 to 11 p.m., the Beverly Bank parking lot at 1900 W. 103rd St. will host an after-party with music from Beverly Phono Mart. The party will include beer and wine for purchase, according to the Beverly Area Planning Association.

Participating businesses include Beverly Dry Goods, Bookie’s, Made Artisan Collaborative, Root Consignment Company, Pizzeria Deepo, Sweet Freaks, Tranquility Salon, Belle Up Boutique, Turkey, Markland Hubbard, Skippagosh, Haven 1890, Bookish, Running Excels, Ohana Ice & Treats, Beverly Phono Mart, Cakewalk Chicago, Color Me Beauty Bar, Oak & Bloom, City Grange, Calabria’s, Emilia Gray, Miss Purl, and Heritage Gallery.

Visitors can begin checking in at 5:30 at City Grange at 1818 W. 99th Street. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the event. A ticket includes a souvenir wristlet, giveaways, entrance to the afterparty, and one free drink, according to BAPA.
