CHICAGO — Artists in the city's Beverly, Mount Greenwood and Morgan Park neighborhoods are sought to design window signs supporting Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker's stay-at-home order that was issued a month ago due to the spread of the new coronavirus.

19th Ward Ald. Matt O'Shea said in an email to neighborhood residents over the weekend that a poster contest will be open to artists, both children and adults, until the end of the week. Poster designs can be posted to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram tagging O'Shea and sent via email to contest@the19thward.com.

Entries must be submitted by Friday, April 24 by 5 p.m. The email needs to include the words "Poster Contest" in the subject line and include the artists name, address, age and school information if applicable.

The winning designs will be on posters that will be sent to neighborhood residents and displayed throughout the community in May.
