Unlocked Homes, Garages Targeted In Mt. Greenwood Burglaries
A burglar entered homes and garages on 112th and Drake and 112th and Central Park early Saturday morning.
CHICAGO — A string of home and garage burglaries occurred overnight in Mount Greenwood over the most recent weekend. Chicago police in the 22nd District are investigating the incidents, all reported between midnight at 5 a.m. on March 15 in the 11200 blocks of South Drake and Central Park avenues.
Police said in all four of the reports made, three on Drake and one on Central Park, the burglar gets inside the home or garage through an unlocked door and steals a number of items, including computers, gaming systems and money.
The burglar has been described as a white man between 18 and 23 years old.
