Barnes & Noble Extends Lease At The Promenade Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Barnes & Noble has extended its lease at The Promenade Bolingbrook, Rhino Investments Group shared in a news release last week.
The lease extension comes after several closures at the outdoor shopping mall, including most recently Bar Louie, Danny's Pizza and BD's Mongolian Grill.
Rhine Investments Group acquired an interest in The Promenade in March, "bringing a focused strategy to reimagine the property as a vibrant, community-driven destination," a release states.

The group said that Barnes & Noble's recommitment "highlights the retailer’s trust in Rhino’s vision for the property and marks an early success in Rhino’s broader efforts to revitalize the retail center."
To help implement its leasing strategy, Rhino has enlisted Chicago-based Brookline Real Estate as its leasing broker., according to a release. Together, the two firms are working to refine the property’s retail mix with a variety of retail, service, dining, and experiential offerings designed to meet modern consumer needs.

The Promenade at Bolingbrook, a 778,000-square-foot LEED-certified center, features prominent anchors like Bass Pro Shops and Macy’s, with Star Cinema Grill serving as a centerpiece of its entertainment offerings, the group said.
