BHS’ Moore Named to All-State Basketball Squad

Moore is the second BHS basketball player in the last four years to make the IBCA All-State team.

forward Ben Moore has been named to the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-State team.

The 6 foot, 7 inch junior averaged 17 points, eight rebounds and four blocks per game during the 2011-12 Raiders season. Season individual game highs included 26 points, 19 rebounds and 11 blocks. He notched a triple double (17 points, 11 rebounds and 11 blocks) against Springfield Lanphier.

Moore is the second BHS basketball player in the last four years to make the IBCA All-State team. Diamond Taylor earned the honor in 2009.
