Bolingbrook Approves Guardrails For 95th Street Construction Project
Officials said the connection of 95th Street in Naperville to Kings Road in Bolingbrook has been planned for more than a decade.

Village trustees have approved installing guardrails along a portion of the proposed four-lane road to connect 95th Street in Naperville with Kings Road in Bolingbrook.
“We have guardrails at several locations in town and this seemed to make sense, especially near a waterway,” Trustee Mike Lawler said of the decision at Tuesday’s Village Board meeting.
employees will likely install the guardrails this spring or summer, Village Attorney Jim Boan said.

The connection of 95th Street in Naperville to Kings Road in Bolingbrook has been planned for more than a decade. Officials said the goal of the bridge is to decrease congestion and alleviate traffic flow in the area.

Funding for the 95th Street extension, which is being managed by Will County, is coming from both Bolingbrook and Naperville as well as county and federal dollars.
