The Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2024 Holiday Cheer Charity Challenge on December 5th, successfully raising over $4,000 for local non-profits. Five selected non-profit organizations participated in the event, each paired with a local restaurant that created a signature drink for guests to sample. Attendees could tip the restaurants, with the tips donated to the partnering non-profits.

The event culminated in a friendly competition where the non-profit receiving the most tips took home the top honor. The final standings were as follows:

  • 5th Place: DuCap, partnered with Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill
  • 4th Place: Citizens Against Abuse, partnered with Ted’s Montana Grill
  • 3rd Place: United Way of Will County, partnered with Holiday Inn & Suites Bolingbrook
  • 2nd Place: F.O.C.U.O.S., partnered with Star Cinema Grill
  • 1st Place: Operation Christmas, partnered with Ashbury’s at Boughton Ridge

In addition to their tips, the top three organizations received extra donations from the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. As the winning restaurant, Ashbury’s at Boughton Ridge will host the event in 2025.
