Bolingbrook Company Returns to the Super Bowl
WeatherTech will air a 30-second commercial during the game for the second consecutive year.
This year, a Bolingbrook company is going to do something NFL teams rarely accomplish: making a return trip to the Super Bowl.

WeatherTech, which makes car floor mats, will be running another national TV commercial during the big game this year, the second consecutive year it’s done so, according to a Chicago Tribune report. Pinnacle Advertising, the Schaumburg-based ad agency that produced WeatherTech’s first commercial, also will be working on this year’s 30-second spot, the report added.

NBC, which is airing the Super Bowl XLIX on Feb. 1, charges $4.5 million for a 30-second spot, the report stated.

Last year, WeatherTech’s “You Can’t Do That” ad scored 5.58 on USA Today’s Super Bowl Ad Meter, which ranked it 28th in viewer reaction.
