Bolingbrook Gun Attack Leaves 1 Dead and 1 Wounded: Sources

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Saturday night gun attack in Bolingbrook left one dead and another wounded, sources said.

Will County Coroner Patrick O’Neil’s office confirmed the shooting death. The Bolingbrook police did not immediately respond when asked for information on the incident.

A source said one victim was found sprawled on Cypress Drive and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Another was located in a residence on Cypress and pronounced dead on the scene.

A suspect wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and armed with a gun equipped with a laser sight was being sought by police, the source said, as was a woman. That couple, and a third person, entered had Walmart, according to the source.
