Bolingbrook To Kick Off Season With 2025 Festival Of Lights Winter Walk

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook invites the community to celebrate the start of the holiday season at the 2025 Festival of Lights Winter Walk and the debut of the Bolingbrook Mistletoe Market, held at Bolingbrook Town Center, the Village shared in a news release.

Festivities begin on Dec. 6, with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Visitors can experience festive light displays, browse local vendors, enjoy holiday treats, and make special memories with family and friends. Guests are encouraged to shop for unique gifts, snap a free photo with Santa, and enjoy entertainment each evening, the Village said.

“We’re excited to continue this holiday tradition in Bolingbrook, bringing families together,” Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said in a release. “Adding the Mistletoe Market offers a new opportunity to explore local food, arts, and crafts—and so much more. Be sure to get your free photo with Santa and join us for the Tree Lighting Ceremony, where our 2025 Citizens of the Year will join the presentation.”

  • Bolingbrook senior citizens are invited to a free exclusive experience during the Festival of Lights Winter Walk and Mistletoe Market with a guided cart tour, cozy beverage, popcorn and a special gift.
