Bolingbrook Lions Host Annual Beep Baseball Tournament

It's the 18th annual tournament for the blind and visually impaired.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Lions Club will present its 18th annual Beep Baseball Tournament for the blind and visually impaired June 8 and 9 at the Bolingbrook Recreation Center, 200 Lindsey Lane. This year's event includes the last three Beep Baseball world champs.

Saturday's games are at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., while Sunday's championship starts at 8 a.m.

Beep baseball is a modified version of baseball played with specially adapted equipment that allows balls to beep and bases to buzz.
