Bolingbrook To Share Improvement Costs At Plainfield-Naperville, Regan
Bolingbrook has jurisdiction over the east leg of the intersection.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Village Board has approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Village of Plainfield for improvements at the intersection of Plainfield-Naperville Road and Regan Boulevard.
At its Tuesday meeting, the Bolingbrook Board approved an agreement for engineering services, construction of a traffic signal and roadway improvements at the intersection.
Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said Will County has jurisdiction of the north leg of the intersection and has approved an intergovernmental agreement with Plainfield to pay for their share.

"Plainfield has jurisdiction over the south and west legs of the intersection and is the lead agency managing this project," Alexander-Basta said.
Bolingbrook has jurisdiction over the east leg of the intersection.

"The project is partially funded by a federal grant for $1.4 million, which is divided among the three parties," Alexander-Basta said.
Bolingbrook will pay $585,082.75, which exceeds the budgeted amount of $500,000.
