Bolingbrook Village Board: First Party Candidates Sweep Election

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Another hotly contested election in Bolingbrook pitted members of the Bolingbrook United Party against the Mayor Roger Claar-backed First Party For Bolingbrook, with seven candidates vying for three spots on the board. In the end, three First Party candidates are projected to win spots on the board, including incumbent Sheldon Watts.

In 2017, Claar and his slated of candidates faced a challenge from Bolingbrook United, with Claar narrowly defeating challenger Jackie Traynere by 151 votes.
