Boys Soccer: Raiders End Season With a Win; Look Towards Playoffs

Just two days after dropping a heartbreaking game in overtime against Joliet Central, the Bolingbrook High School boys soccer team found its own overtime magic in its season finale.
Junior midfielder Nick Goodell scored the unassisted game-winner in the first overtime to give the Raiders their 11th win of the season.
Bolingbrook head coach Jaime Clemmons said goaltender Frankie Luna had a huge save late in the game to force overtime. Luna recorded five saves overall en route to his fifth shutout of the season.

The team finished its regular season with a 11-10-1 record and will play Batavia in the Waubonsie Valley regional semifinal on Oct. 18 at 4:30 p.m.
