DuPage Township has paid summer job opportunities

Internship program hosted by Will County Center for Economic Development

DuPage Township is pleased to be included in the Will County Summer Internship Program, hosted by the Will County Center for Economic Development (CED).

DuPage Township is seeking camp counselors for their 2025 Summer Bridge day camp which run the first week of June to the last week of July. There will are paid mandatory trainings at the end of May. Students who wish to work with children from 1st - 8th grades are encouraged to apply.

The CED’s program seeks to give high school students and recent grads paid opportunities to discover career paths, provide a valuable, resume building experience, and establish community connections.

DuPage Township is one of over 50 organizations in the program.

Students must be a current student or will be a recent graduate from one of the following schools Joliet Township High School, Valley View School District 365U WILCO, Joliet Catholic Academy, and Providence Catholic High School, or Lockport Township High School.

All students are required to submit a resume, transcript, and if required by an employer, a cover letter for their application. Students are required to provide their own transportation.

The Will County Center for Economic Development values investing in the workforce, preparing the next generation of workers, and connecting Will County businesses to a pipeline of local talent.

In partnership with Joliet Township High School District 204, the CED established the Will County Summer Internship Program in 2023. In 2025 the program expanded to include Valley View School District 365U, WILCO, Joliet Catholic Academy, Providence Catholic High School, and Lockport Township High School.
