2. Rob Lowe on Being Drew Peterson: It's More Than the Hair

Rob Lowe, who is starring in the upcoming Lifetime movie centered on the alleged Bolingbrook wife-killer Drew Peterson, showed up at Comic-Con and, according to a USA Today report, turned heads with a shocking mop of gray, dyed so he could play the part.

Lowe talked a bit about his newest role. For the complete Q&A, click HERE.

Here's an excerpt:

Me: Have you done anything where you've had a lot of prosthetics before?

Lowe: No, never. So this is a first, and that's one of the reasons I wanted to do it, was to really have a chance to transform.

What is it like sitting still for so many hours while you get prepared for the part?

Well, it's funny -- what you realize is the makeup and hair can only take you so far, and then you have to figure out the guy. It's a discipline to be in the chair that long -- I'm first to come and last to leave. The hair alone took six hours. Who knew, but gray is apparently a hard color to create.
