Help Us Wish Bolingbrook a Happy 46th Birthday

, you're still a youngster when compared some of your surrounding towns and communities. But in human years, you're getting up there.

And, in fact, the number of Bolingbrook residents that can say they've been here from the beginning—Oct. 6, 1965 to be exact—is quickly dwindling to a special few.

On this day 46 years ago, your founding fathers helped incorporate you with a population of just 5,300 living in 1,200 homes.

Today, you boast a —or the 17^th largest incorporated place in Illinois. 

You've gradually matured from just a few through roads and a handful of businesses scattered throughout town to a bustling business destination in the Chicago-area with essentially every service a resident could want.

So today, on your 46th birthday, we here at Bolingbrook Patch would like to wish you a very happy birthday!
