Identity Thief Bought Mattress Pad, School Supplies, Gift Cards & Clothes: Cops
The identity thief used an old lady's Visa card to buy all that stuff, police said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — An identity thief used an old lady’s Visa card to buy a mattress pad, school supplies, gift cards and clothes, police said.
Virginia Hale, 48, was arrested Wednesday night and booked into the Will County jail. Hale was charged with three counts of aggravated identity theft and three counts of the unlawful use of another’s credit card.
The credit card Hale allegedly unlawfully used belonged to Joan Brown, who is older than 60, according to the criminal complaint filed against Hale.

Hale allegedly used the credit card to make her purchases in August. She bought the school supplies and gift cards from the Target in Bolingbrook, the complaint said, the clothes from the Bolingbrook Marshalls, and the mattress pad from the Aldi on Lily Cache Lane.
Hale remains in custody in the Will County jail. Her bond had been previously set at $100,000.
