Burger Restaurant Closes Bolingbrook Location

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Krafted Burger Bar + Tap closed its Bolingbrook location in The Promenade on July 8, the business shared on its Facebook earlier this month.

The restaurant opened its Bolingbrook location at 641 E. Boughton Road, Suite 110, in 2022, serving burgers, chicken sandwiches and pizzas. Krafted also operated a location in Elmhurst, which closed permanently on July 8 as well.

The business thanked customers for their support and loyalty.

"It’s been an honor to serve these communities, and we are incredibly grateful for the memories made with you over the years," the business said on its Facebook page.

The restaurant had issues with its liquor license in recent months. In April, the Village rescinded the business' liquor license, stating that Krafted no longer had a state license to sell liquor.

The Elmhurst location had similar liquor license woes.
