Lane Closures Expected Next Two Weeks At Route 53, I-55

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Drivers who travel on Interstate 55 near Bolingbrook should be aware of temporary lane closures over the next two weeks, according to a notification from the Village.

The Village said the temporary closures will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as contractors complete the required lighting installation underneath the Interstate 55 bridge at Route 53.

"These lane closures will cause traffic delays, so please find alternative routes and avoid the area if possible," the Village said.
