Lane Closures For Painting Expected At Route 53, Interstate 55

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Lane closures are expected over the next few weeks at the Route 53 and Interstate 55 interchange in Bolingbrook, according to a notification from the Village.

Crews will be on-site at the interchange to paint the remainder of the bridge beams.

The Village said that drivers should expect one lane of Route 53 to close between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to accommodate the work. The work will begin on June 26 with the southbound lane.
