Fountaindale Library Seeks The ‘Peeple’s’ Choice
More than 20 entries are up for a vote in the library's first Peeps Diorama Contest.

Now, more than 20 entries are up for a vote for the ‘Peeple's Choice’ award in the library’s first Peeps Diorama Contest.
Contestants were invited to use the candy to create scenes inspired by their favorite book, movie, or video game. Some of the entries have titles such as “Peepanardo da Vinci,” “Pirates of the Caripeepean,” “Peepunzel,” and “The Pied Peeper of Bolingbrook.”

"There is so much creativity and hard work that went into these dioramas and they are a lot of fun to look at," said Debra Dudek, the library’s adult and teen services manager.
The entries can be viewed and voted for on the library’s Facebook page here, or viewed in person during the diorama display from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Meeting Room B. Winners will be announced at 7 p.m. Prizes will be awarded.

Library officials said this year’s inaugural contest was such a success, they plan to make it an annual event.
