Lombard Man Charged After Police Find Loaded Gun, Drugs In Truck

Police said Mitchell Murdock was in possession of a loaded revolver, marijuana packaged to sell, and cash after he was was pulled over.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Lombard man is in police custody after police found a loaded gun, marijuana packaged for sale, and cash in his vehicle after the man was pulled over by police on Friday, police said.

Mitchell Murdock, 46, of the 2000 block of Stewart Avenue, was arrested and charged with the possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver, unlawful possession of firearm ammunition, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, police said in a news release.

Murdock was arrested after he was pulled over by police near Bolingbrook Drive and I-55 at 5:40 p.m. on Friday, police said. Police conducted a search of Murdock’s truck and located a loaded Smith and Wesson revolver, the cash, and drugs, police said. Murdock was taken into custody and taken to the Will County Detention Center.
