Stubblefield was found dead inside a vehicle in a parking lot in the 600 block of West Boughton Road last year with multiple gunshot wounds. Forensic evidence obtained by Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians was submitted to the crime laboratory within two weeks of the incident.

"Detectives were steadfast in their efforts and relentlessly pursued the case while awaiting results from the crime laboratory," police said in a release.
