Manhunt After Home Invasion at Scene of Bolingbrook Murder: Source
The cops searched for a teen who allegedly forced his way into a home where a prior gun attack left one dead and one wounded, a source said.

The break-in and what a source called an “attempted kidnapping” came a night after Bolingbrook resident Kevin Jerel Bailey was arrested and charged with the Feb. 6 murder of 21-year-old Juantrelle Quarles.
When he was killed, Quarles was among a group that had gathered at a residence on Cypress Drive following a funeral in Summit, police said.
Quarles, a Bolingbrook resident, suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to Will County Coroner Patrick O’Neil’s office.
A second man was wounded in the shooting, police said.
Bailey, 22, was booked into the Will County jail Saturday on charges of murder and second-degree murder.
About 6 p.m. Sunday, a man forced his way into the Cypress Drive home where Quarles was shot, a source said. The source identified the alleged home invader as a 19-year-old from Bolingbrook.
The teen already has a warrant out for his arrest for missing a court date in a felony theft case. The teen had pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation. Prosecutors moved to revoke his probation last month and he failed to appear for a hearing, according to court records.
Bolingbrook police Lt. Carter Larry confirmed “there was an incident involving” the teen Sunday night and that “detectives and officers are currently investigating it.”
