No Shots Fired At Bolingbrook Teen Pool Party Skirmish: Police
The party included several skirmishes and incidents of unruly behavior, but police said social media reports of gunshots fired are false.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook Police are disputing social media rumors about shots being fired at a teen pool party Tuesday night, saying on Wednesday that the event included no serious incidents, police said.
The pool party, which was hosted at Pelican Harbor by the Bolingbrook Park District, grew to a size that forced officials to limit the number of people attending, police said.
Bolingbrook Police were on scene for the party, which police said Wednesday included several skirmishes and a number of teens who exhibited what police called “unruly behavior.” But due to the police presence, the incidents were quickly dealt with and were not serious in nature, police said.
