Overnight Lane Closures Expected On I-55 Ramp To I-355

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The outbound Interstate 55 ramp to Interstate 355 will have overnight lane closures on Friday and Saturday, according to a news release from IDOT.

Pavement repairs are needed on the ramp, and lane closures will happen from midnight to 11 a.m. on Nov. 21 and 22.

IDOT said the public can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Alternate routes are encouraged. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
